We provide free immunization, to children who qualify, up to 18 years of age through the Federal Vaccines for Children Program. A reminder/recall is initiated for all children who have not completed their primary immunization series. The goal of the Immunization Program is to have all children up to date on their shots as appropriate to their age. Titers are also available in the Holbrook, Show Low, and Winslow offices and are done by appointment only. Fees for titers vary. Please call for more information.

If you have any questions regarding immunizations or would like a copy of your child’s record, or in some cases your own record, please provide your full name and date of birth or your child’s full name and date of birth.

FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

Child Immunizations
Should All Children Be Immunized?

Medical professionals recommend that all children receive immunizations for protection against polio, measles, mumps, rubella (German measles), pertussis (whooping cough), diphtheria, tetanus, Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) infections, varicella (chickenpox), pneumonia, Hepatitus A, and Hepatitis B.

What Can Happen When Children Are Not Immunized?

Immunization is the only protection children have against these childhood diseases. These diseases have the potential for serious or fatal complications, including breathing problems, brain damage, meningitis and paralysis. Some parents do not get their children immunized because they are not aware that these diseases still pose a serious threat to the health of their children. As long as even a few cases of a disease occur, children and adults who are not properly immunized are at risk for catching the disease and spreading it to others.
