Navajo County Government Relations Administrator
Hunter Moore manages the coordination of inter-governmental relations, community/media relations, lobbing efforts, economic development and natural resource issues for Navajo County. He is also the regional economic development director for the REAL AZ Corridor, which is a consortium of government, private business and non-profit groups interested in developing new and existing industry in Apache and Navajo Counties.
Prior to joining the Navajo County team, Hunter spent several years in Los Angeles with the law firms of Seyfarth Shaw, LLP and Cohen & Lord, LLP, working in employment litigation defense of professional sports franchises, real estate matters and products liability litigation. Hunter also worked as an in-house attorney for the Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League working on legal matters for the franchises which included player, marketing, sponsorship, stadium operations, special event and sales contracts, litigation and licensing. Prior to his time in the NFL, Hunter worked for the City of Mesa dealing with telecommunications licensing and operations, geographical information systems, and various efforts supporting Mesa's economic development, public safety, utilities, and city management.
Hunter is an avid outdoorsmen, cyclist and golfer, and he loves to coach youth football, basketball and baseball in his community. Hunter has been married to his beautiful wife Julie for 15 years, and together they own a small business in the White Mountains of Arizona. Hunter and Julie have five awesome children (Mariah, Amber, Cody, Sterling and Sabrie).
