Navajo County Animal Care and Control
Licensing

ARS 11-1008 A. The Board of Supervisors of each county may set a license fee which shall be paid for each dog three months of age or over that is kept, harbored or maintained within the boundaries of the state for at least thirty consecutive days of each calendar year.

Do I Need a License?

If you live in an incorporated area of the county (cities/towns) you DO NOT need a county license. Check with your city/town for their license requirements. If you live in the unincorporated portion of the county on non-tribal lands your pets DO need to have a county license.

What are the Fees?
