A list of properties is available on our website under Back Tax Land Auction. A new list is available every year in October.

The list of the properties will be available on this website, over the counter in
our administration office, or in our county contract newspaper.
How does the bidding work?
Bidding starts at the price listed and is sold to the highest bidder. No bids will be accepted for less than the starting price. The On-Line Auction will start on Monday, October 15 at 9:00 a.m. at www.publicsurplus.com
How do I pay for my purchases?
You will pay for the item(s) purchased through public surplus auction. They accept credit card under $4,000 and wire transfer over $4000.
How much time will I have to pay for my purchases?
You will have 5 working days to pay for your item(s) from the time and date of the notice of award.
Will I get a deed for my property?
Yes, Navajo County will issue a quit claim deed to you. You should receive your
deed within a couple of months after the sale.
Navajo County makes no guarantee regarding the properties. There may be problems with the property. All sales are final.
