David Tenney |
David Tenney was born in Mesa, Arizona. He has been a resident of Navajo County
since the Tenney family moved to the Heber community when he was 6 months old. Mr.
Tenney graduated from Snowflake High School in 1982. He served a two year mission
in Colombia for his church and attended Brigham Young University.
David and his wife Gay have six children (Stetson, Ciara, Cache, Houston, Cody,
and Dallin) and live in the Linden community. David enjoys football, fishing, hunting
with his boys and traveling with his wife. Supervisor Tenney served several years
on the Show Low School Board.
David Tenney was elected in November 2004 to represent District IV (Show Low, Taylor,
Linden, Pinedale, Clay Springs, and Heber/Overgaard) on the Navajo County Board
of Supervisors. In addition, Mr. Tenney represents Navajo County on the Natural
Resources Working Group, the White Mountain Regional Development Board, the Silver
Creek Watershed Alliance Board, the County Supervisors’ Association Legislative
Policy Committee, serves as the 2007 third Vice-president of the County Supervisors’
Association and is the 2007 Chairman of the Navajo County Board of Supervisors.
