Mission:

To provide for the surveillance of infectious disease processes, differentiate between the disease and infectious outbreaks of natural causes, and those of suspect or confirmed bioterrorist nature. Develop and manage county response capabilities to bioterrorist events in coordination with established county, tribal, and state Emergency Management Systems. To educate and train county Public Health, health care personnel, as well as associated tribal health care counterparts. To provide timely information of Bioterrorism health concerns to the general public.
