Board Meeting

Members of the Rainbow Accommodation School Board will attend either in person or by telephone conference call.

Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Governing Board of Rainbow Accommodation School and to the general public, that the board will hold a meeting open to the public on January 29, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Navajo County School Superintendent’s Office located at the Navajo County Governmental Complex, 100 E. Carter Rd., Holbrook, AZ.

The Board may vote to meet in a closed executive session to discuss certain matters as indicated on the following agenda. The Board may meet in executive session pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A) (3) for legal advice on any item.

    Individuals may address the Board on any relevant issue for up to 5 minutes. At the close of the call to the public, Board members may respond to any comment, ask staff to review a matter or ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. The public is cautioned about making statements against employees of the District that may be considered slanderous. A further reminder, the minutes of this meeting are public record and may be used in other proceedings.

    4. Discussion and possible approval to continue to use the Navajo County Special Services Consortium as a service provider for Rainbow Accommodation School.
    5. Discussion and possible approval to terminate two employees.
    6. Discussion and possible approval to purchase school bus cameras from McCandles through Mohave Educational Services Cooperative, Inc.
    7. Discussion of transportation needs for the coming year.
