Back Tax Land
Pursuant to ARS 42-18302 NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Navajo County, AZ will sell to the highest bidder the following described real properties held in the name of the State of Arizona by Treasurer's Deed. The Back Tax Land Parcels are listed below and can be purchased beginning January 22, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at www.publicsurplus.com. Select Arizona Region and Navajo County Government Agency. The minimum bid is the total amount due. The on-line auction will remain available for 7 days.
Prospective purchasers are advised: all sales are final. The title conveyed by Treasurer's deed may or may not be marketable and the buyer is urged to seek advice on the marketability of the title. Check the assessor's map for the location of the parcel and examine the property before purchasing. There are no warranties or guarantees provided as to access, size, or condition of the property. No refunds will be issued. Buyers will be issued a Quit Claim Deed. If you have any questions, please contact our office at 928-524-4053.

- How does the bidding work?

Bidding starts at the price listed and is sold to the highest bidder. No bids will be accepted for less than the starting price. The On-Line Auction will start January 22, 2024 at www.publicsurplus.com.
- How do I pay for my purchases?

You will pay for the item(s) purchased through public surplus auction. They accept credit card under $4,000 and wire transfer over $4,000.
- How much time will I have to pay for my purchases?

You will have 5 working days to pay for your item(s) from the time and date of the notice of award.
- Will I get a deed for my property?

Yes, Navajo County will issue a quit claim deed to you. You should receive your deed within a couple of months after the sale.
