The 2021 tax statements were mailed out on Friday, September 17th, 2021. For tax bills over $100.00 the first half 2021 property taxes are due no later than November 1, 2021 by 5:00 pm. The second half 2021 property taxes are due no later than May 2, 2022 by 5:00pm. If paying the 2021 property taxes under $100.00 or paying both installments by January 3, 2022, interest will not be assessed on the first half. Property tax deadlines are set by Arizona Revised Statute 42-18052. Failure to receive a tax statement is not a legal reason for waiving interest. The Treasurer must assess interest on all delinquent balances at the annual rate of 16%, prorated monthly on the first day of each month.
